[ Highlight ]
Nagahiro had his name FUJITA Tokujirô. He learned swords creation under YOKOYAMA Sukenaga at Bizen Osafune. He lived and created his swords at Suô province. He was called Shin-ryû-shi "眞龍子". At the beginning, he started his carrier at Hagi, Chô-shû province. Then, around Genji "元治" 1(1864) he moved to Yamaguchi, Subô province. His remaining swords can be found from around Man-en "万延" 1 (1860) through Meiji "明治"
5(1860). In this short period, he tried to achieve several styles. It seemed that he wanted to establish his own style. He tried to show Ko-tô Norishige or Shin-tô Hankei in this sword. On very fine ko-itame-hada, he tempered nie-deki hamon which showed his uninhibited activities . Nice form sword with bright hamon. His sword with scripture is rare so that it is one of high light taki-fudô and tama-oi-shô-ryû carefully made relief which is well harmonized with the finish of blade. It is a long signature as if declaring the school member of "YOKOYAMA Kaganosuke", with character "一" and chrysanthemum crest kiku-mon "菊紋". As a memorial sword of Nagahiro, it should be cared and expected hand over to future generations.

[ Conditions ] La lame et le koshirae conservent d'excellentes conditions.
