[ Highlight ]
First generation Hizen Kanehiro was a child of Hizen Kunihiro. He was called Rokurô-zaemon. He was a swordsmith around Kanbun. He signed his signature Yamato Daijô Fujiwara Kanehiro "大和大掾藤原兼広". It was said that he was given official rank Yamato-no-kami "大和守" later. Second generation was a child or a child in law of first generation Yamato daijô Kanehiro. He wokled around Genroku throuhg Kyôhô. He was given official rank Tô-tô-mi-no-kami "遠江守". This sword has a form, shallow sori attached, chû-kissaki extended and fukura kareru state. It seemed that once nakago was given suri-age, then machi-okuri was done later. Mekugi-ana holes locate a little far (from machi), lower part of nakago. It might be given special form koshirae for this sword, so that nakago became longer. Longer nomikomi length habaki attached. Blade length is a little shorter than 2 shaku, which categorized as katana, but, this sword is 3 bu less specifically. However, the feeling in hand is almost same as katana. Yakihaba is wide. The finish of ji-ba is so good.

[ Conditions ] There is small kitae-ware higher than mono-uchi, on shinogi-ji of omote side, mune and shinogi-ji of ura side. They are not remarkable. The condition of polishment is excellnt.
