[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Mihaba is ordinal. Kasane is relatively thick. There are some differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais and kesho. Saki is kuri-jiri.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. A little, some changes mixed. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : In cho-jis, gunomes and tobari-bas mixed. Deep nioi appeared. Ko-nie attached. Sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It shows midare-komi. Saki turns in ko-maru form.

[ Highlight ] Unju Nobukazu was a Tamba swordsmith of the late Edo period, a disciple of Sekido Unju Korekazu. He also made swords in Edo Azabu. He made signatures like "Kato Unju Nobukazu, Ayabe, Tamba", "Kato Unju Nobukazu", "Unju Fujiwara Nobukazu", "Kato Nobukazu, Ayabe, Tamba", "Sekido Unju Fujiwara Nobukazu", "Fujiwara Nobukazu, Ayabe, Tamba" and "Fujiwara Nobukazu, resident of Ayabe, Tanba, Japan". The dates are Ansei 3, Bunkyu 3, Genji 1, Keio 1, 2, 3 and Meiji 3. This piece is characterised by its deep nioi and nie, and its sound body is also very pleasant.

[ Conditions ] There is a 1 cm natural forge crack from hiraji to shinogi-ji in the centre of the front. Otherwise excellent condition. Polished. New shira-saya.
