[ Size ] Blade length 52,41cm (1 shaku 7 sun 3 bu 0 rin), sori 1,5cm (5 bu 0 rin), moto-haba 3,11cm, moto-kasane 0,68cm, saki-haba 2,09 cm, saki-kasane 0,43 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 511g , shirasaya length 73,2cm

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is ordinal. Kasane is thick. Moderate sori attached. Chû-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is iriyama-gata. One hole. There is long signature chô-mei around sashi-omote, just below the hole mekugi-ana for mune side.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Shallow notare. Konie attached. Fine sunagashi appeared. Habuchi shows hotsure-gokoro state.
Boushi : It runs with a little notare, then it turns in komaru. Saki has a little hakikake.

Ô-mi-no-kami Tsuguhiro was a swordsmith of Echizen Shimosaka school. There were two generations, first generation who created the swords at Kô-shû Zensho and Edo, second generation around Kanbun era. Enterin on shintô period, in Echizen province, the number of swordsmith getting increased. Shimosaka school swordsmiths who moved from Ô-mi provnce, and moved from Mino province, such as Kanenori "兼法" or Kanenori "兼則", they were so flourished. On Ô-mi-no-kami Tsuguhiro, there was a study that he was a pupil of third generation Yasutsugu (e.g. 刀工大鑑 ).

[ Highlight ] The sword has not showyness but konie attached habuchi shining is so deep. The more appreciating, the more tasting.

[ Conditions ] It is not brand new polishment, but it can be aprreciated and preserved as it is. It may much improve the atractiveness, however, even after polishment, two rust dots observed, on shinogiji of omote side and the ridge line of mune.

[ Attachments ] Habaki (suaka-ji, gold plating, single), shirasaya and bag of shirasaya.
