[ Signature ] omote : "肥前一文字出羽守行廣" ura : -
[ Size ] Blade length 68,4cm (2 shaku 2 sun 5 bu 7 rin), sori 2,2cm (7 bu 2 rin), moto-haba 3,10cm, moto-kasane 0,65cm, saki-haba 2,13 cm, saki-kasane 0,40 cm, mekugi-ana(holes) 2, blade weight 681,5g , shirasaya length 93,7cm

[ Province ] Hizen

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Kasane is ordinal. Shinogi-haba is wide. There are some differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Relatively deep sori attached. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Mokumes mixed. Rich fine jinie attached. Fine chikkei appeared.
Hamon : Hiro-suguha. Deep nioi attached. Ko-ashis appeared. Konie attached well. Fine kinsens and sunagashi appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, then turns komaru. Saki has a little hakikake shape.

Dewa-no-kami Yukihiro was born in Genwa "元和" 3(1617). A swordsith who worked actively around Kanbun through Enpô. He was a grandson of first generation Tadayoshi, second son of HASHIMOTO Yoshinobu, younger brother of Kawachi Daijô Masahiro. He called himself as Kurôbei. He was given honorary position zuryo Dewa daijô in Keian 1(1648), Dewa-no-kami in Kanbun 3(1663). It was said "In Keian 3(1650), he learned a Dutch steel forging method from Mr. Yakushiji something at Nagasaki, then itroducing it into Japanese way of forging". He signed Ichi-monji. It was said that he created the swords at Hiroshima in Geishû province. He had his signature such as "肥前國藤原行廣", " 肥前國出羽大掾藤原行廣", " 一肥前國出羽守行廣", " 一肥前國佐賀住出羽守行廣", " 肥前國出羽大掾行廣阿蘭陀鍛作之", " 一肥前國出羽守行廣以阿蘭陀鍛作", " 肥前一文字出羽守行廣", etc. The day of his deceased was 27th May Tenwa 2(xxxx), 66 years old.

Highlight ] Form with wide moto-haba and deep sori attached. Well grained ko-itame-hada mixing mokume. Ko-nie attached well. Nioikuchi is remarkable. Bright and wide sugu-ha. It is not commof for Dewa-no-kami Yukihiro creating suguha sword. However, it can be said that it is traditional style of Hizen. Truthly it is good. The signature is on sashi-omote (haki-omote). There is a hole hikae-mekugi-ana.

[ Conditions ] There is a tiny chip at ha-machi "刃区". There are some scratches and dent caused by scabbard saya.

[ Attachments ] Habaki (silver, single), shirasaya, bag of shirasaya and 特NBTHK Tokubetsu hozon paper (issued on 2nd February Heisei 29(2017))
