Form : HIra-zukuri. Mitsu-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. A little, sori attached. A few lentgh extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Engraving : (omote) gom-bashis. (ura) koshi-hi along with soe-hi.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Part by part, ô-hada mixed. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared. Nie-utsuri comes to be appeared.
Hamon : Ko-nie based. Hoso-sugu-ha. Ha-buchi has some changes. A little, sunagashi appeared.
Boushi : It turns in ko-maru. Saki attached a few nie.

Nobusada "信定" was a swordsmith of the "信国" Nobukuni school of swordsmiths in Yamashiro"山城", and he made swords in the late Muromachi period (1532~). The Nobukuni school is based on Ryōkai's style, and the first Nobukuni, who studied under Sōshu Sadamune "相州貞宗", produced swords of the Enbun, Kouan, and Jōji "延文(1326-1361)・康安(1361-1362)・貞治(1362-1368)" periods. He was replaced by Nobukuni, who left the annals nenki of Eitoku, Shitoku, and Meitoku "永徳(1381-1384)・至徳 (1384 -1387)・明徳(1390-1394)" in the late Nanbokucho period. In the early years of the Muromachi period, there were such men as and O-ei Nobukuni "応永信国", who bore the official position Saemon-no-jo "左衛門尉" and Shikibujo"式部丞". This work inherits the sugu-ha work of the Nobukuni school, which was their forte. The tailoring and carving of the mitsumune also shows skillful workmanship. The imposing two-character inscription in the center of omote side nakago below hole is also tasteful.
