[ Size ] Blade length 73.32cm (2 shaku 4 sun 2 bu 0 rin), sori 0.8cm (4 bu 2 rin), moto-haba 3.14cm, moto-kasane 0.68cm, saki-haba 2.28 cm, saki-kasane 0.52 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 748.5g, shirasaya length 100cm

[ Province ] Settsu

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Shallow sori attached. There are few differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Chû-kissak form.
Nakago : Ubu. Saki is iri-yama-gata. Yasurimes are suji-kais and keshô. One hole (shape of gourd)
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Hadame shows fine and densed. Jinie attached. Fine chikei appeared.
Hamon : It runs in sugu. Then, in ô-gunomes, notare and ko-gunomes mixed, becoming dô-ranba shape. Ashis and yôs appeared. Ko-nie attached well. Totally, fine sunagashis appeared. Round tama-yaki appeared.
Boushi : It tempered deeply. Komaru, it turns relatively deep.

[ Highlight ]
Second generation Echigo-no-kami Kanesada was a pupil of first generation Echigo-no-kami Kanesada. He was a swordsmith of Settsu province in the middle of Edo period, around Enpô "延宝".
After decease of first generation, he succeeded the name of Kanesada as second generation. When first generation's child, Iwamatsu "岩松", became grown up, he passed the name to him. He called himself as Sakakura Gon-no-shin Terukane. Second generation Echigo-no-kami Kanesada is known as his high skills among other Ô-saka shintô swordsmiths. This sword has relatively long length, shallow sori attached form. Elavorate and beautiful ko-itame-forging jinage mixed ô-gunomes, sunagashis appeared. Tama-yaki tempering appeared as well. High spirit dô-ran-bas tempered, clear nioi-ckuchi is so magnific.
