[ Province ] Bizen "備前"

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is relatively wide as well. High shinogi-suji attached. There are some differences between moto-haba and saki-haba.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Mokumes mixed. Rich jinie attached. Midare-utsuri comes to be appeared on the surface.
Hamon : In koshi-biraki-gunomes, square "ha"s and ko-gunomes mixed. Ko-ashis and yos appeared. Ko-nie attached.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. It turns deeply.

[ Highlight ]
Shichihei-no-jo Sukesada "七兵衛尉祐定" is a swordsmith who created swords in Bizen-Osafune "備前長船" during the Genki and Tensho "元亀・天正" periods. He is well known as one of the best swordsmiths among the many swordsmiths of the same name who existed at the end of the Muromachi period. The name of the sword is "Bizen no Kuni ju Osafune Takaki Shichibei-no-jo Sukesada" "Bizen-no-kuni-ju Osafune Shichibei-no-jo Sukesada" ("備前国住長船高木七兵衛尉祐定" "備前国住長船七兵衛尉祐定" etc.) There are dated works such as Genki 3 "元亀三" and Tensho 18 "天正十八". The mi-haba and kasane are sturdy, with a sense of weight on hand, and the jigane (iron) has a refined texture. The blade is well developed nie attached and has a bright nioi-kuchi and tempered midare-bas.

[ Conditions ]
The blade has some minor flaws, minor nicks and light rust. The lacquered scabbard is partly flaked.
