[ Size ] Blade length 69.6cm (2 shaku 2 sun 9 bu 7 rin), sori 1.4cm (2 bu 6 rin), moto-haba 3.01cm, moto-kasane 0.71cm, saki-haba 2.08 cm, saki-kasane 0.50 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 721g, shirasaya length 96cm
[ Period ] Edo, Ansei "安政" 7(1860)
[ Province ] Aki "安藝"

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Miahba is ordinal. Kasane is relatively thick. Moderate sori attached. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Saki is iri-yama-gata. Yasurimes are ô-suji-kais. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada specially well grained. It shows almost no pattern.
Hamon : Chû-suguha. Very shallow natare pattern mixed. Nie attached well. Part by part, its size becoming large.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Komaru, it turns deep.

[ Highlight ]
Izumo Daijô Masamitsu was a swordsmith of second half of Edo period. He moved from Nagato to Aki and created swords. He had his signature such as "安芸国高野住石橋出雲大掾源正光", "芸州石橋出雲大掾正光", "芸州住出雲大掾正光", etc. As signature of years, he had such as "天保五, 九, 十五", "嘉永四", "安政七", "文久三", "慶応元, 二, 四", etc. Ko-itame pattern becoming almost flat. Chû-sugu-ha tempered which attached rich nie. Kasane is relatively thick. Heavy at hand, sturdy finish. Conditions and state are healthy. One of preferable sword.
