[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Saki-zori attached. There are differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are shallow katte-sagari. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. Shirake-utsuri comes to be appeared.
Hamon : Sugu-ha tone. Gunomes and shallow notares mixed. Ko-nie attached. Nioi-kuchi tends to be shown clear state.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, gunomes pattern mixed. Saki turns in komaru sharply.
[ Highlight ]
Kanemura "兼村" started to create swords at Seki, in Mino province in the early days of the Warring States Sengoku period, which began with the Onin War O-nin-no-ran "応仁の乱".
It can be observed shirake-utsuri totally. The large character "兼" engraved at the middle of nakago, toward mune-side. Below it, the smaller size character "村" engraved. It is a distinctive signature.
It's a stretchy appearance, clean sori attached.
The nakago is finished to be short compared to the length of the blade.
[ Conditions ]
There are minor scratches at hira-ji, around the top third of omote side of the blade, and shinogi-suji nearby. For ura side, a litte above in the middle, it shows some rough surfaces.
It has been carefully polished and can be preserved and appreciated in its current condition.
