[ Size ] Blade length 47.57cm (1 shaku 5 sun 7 bu 0 rin), sori 1.06cm (3 bu 5 rin), moto-haba 3.15cm, moto-kasane 0.69cm, saki-haba 2.22 cm, saki-kasane 0.50 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 508.5g , shirasaya length 72cm
[ Period ] Edo, first half of
[ Province ] Settsu

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is ordinal. Shallow sori attached. There are differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is iri-yama-gata. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Rich jinie attached.
Hamon : Yaki-dashi has sugu-tone. Chô-jimidare, ko-gunomes mixed. Ashis appeared. Partly, tamas tempered.
Boushi : It runs in ko-maru. Saki nie attached. It turns in togari-gokoro.

[ Highlight ]

Well grained ko-itame-hada jigane, bright and clear hamon tempered, which mixed fist shape kobushi-gata chôjis in tight nioi-kuchi chô-ji-midare hamon. Seldom flaw observed, healthy form is one of appealing point as well.
First generation Ô-saka Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi was born as third son of Kyôto Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi in Keichô "慶長"3 (1598). He was called Mishina Kin-emon. He learned swords creation under his father. During Shôho "正保" era(1645- 1648), he was given an official rank Tanba-no-kami "丹波守". Later, he sat up branch family. He moved to Ô-saka via Fushimi, and worked actively. His son was second generation Yamato-no-kami Yoshimichi. Yamato-no-kami Yoshimichi had co-worked swords with first, second generation Ô-saka Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi and second generation Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke. It could be considered that there were technical communications among them.

This swords is not only excellent finish but also precious since carefully done nakago finish, which has ura-nenki and omote side signature Fujiwara "藤原". The sword with refreshing atmoshpere.

[ Conditions ]
Excellent. Habaki and shirasaya are both new.
