[ Province ] Bizen "備前"

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is ordinal. Moderate sori attached. Slightly saki-zori attached. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki- is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada. More or less, grained patterns comes to be appeared on surface. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Sugu-ha tone. Ko-gunomes mixed. Ko-ashis appeared. Nie attached, sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Form is ko-maru. Saki is haki-kake.

"黒石目塗鞘突兵拵"

[ Highlight ] Bizen Sukesada "備前祐定" was a group of swordsmiths active in Bizen at the end of the Muromachi period (1336-1573) and there are many swordsmiths who had the same name. They are known to have made a number of practical swords with excellent sharpness to meet the demands of the Warring States period "戦国時代" .

[ Conditions ] The surface is a little rough in places, and there are a few flaws, but the polish is generally in good condition and there is a sense of weight. The koshirae is in very good condition, having been newly made for the art of Battou.
