[ Feature ] Form: Hira - tsukuri , iori-mune. Mihaba and Kasane are both ordinal. No sori. Tanto. Nakago: Ubu, a little sori attached. Yasurime suji-kai. Kesho - yasuri. Saki - kurijiri. One hole. Jigane : Koitame-hada well densed, jinie attached. Chikei appeared. Hamon : Ko-nie deki. Sugu-ha. A little notare-kokoro mixed. Nioi-kuchi clear. Konie attached in rich. Kinsen and sunagashi attached. Boushi : It turns in komaru, saki haki-kake-kokoro. Swordmith Yamaguchi Kiyofusa was born on 4th December Syowa 7 (1932). His real name is Takeshi Yamaguchi. He was pupil of Masamine Sumitani who was national treasure. He got the permission in Syowa 44 (1969) and became independent. Then he established the workshop in Morioka city, Iwate pref., started forging. He was awarded effort prize in 6th newly made swords exhibition, then got Manichi shinbun prize, Takamatsu-no-miya prize, Niho Bijyutu Touken Hozon Kyokai prizes. In Syowa 61(1986), he received as Kunzan award, then recoginized as Mu-kansa (master of swordsmith) [ Highlight ] He was good at creating Bizen-den and Cho-ji-midare of Ichimonji-school, it is nice to see and appreciate suguha sword such as this. High quality and elegant shape, suguha on wet jitetsu, jinie shining, koitame-hada well densed. |
