[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, wide body, thick layer of grain, curvature at the waist, difference in width between base and tip, medium cutting edge.
Engraving: Rod-shaped grooves on both sides.
Nakago: Raw, file marks, shallow tip, one mekugi hole.
Jigane : The jigane has a fine itame-hada texture with ji-nie.
Hamon : The hamon is cho-ji midare mixed with gunome, with a sharp nioi-kuchi and ashi-yo.
Boushi : The boushi is irregular, with a small maru return and a slight sweep at the tip.

[ Highlight ] Sadateru Kobayashi, whose real name is Hirotsugu Kobayashi, was born in 1938 and studied under his father Sadayoshi, who was a disciple of Tadayoshi Kawashima and Sadakazu Gassan II. He was approved as a swordsmith on 25 February 1970. He lived in Okuizumo-cho (formerly Yokota-cho), Nita-gun, Shimane Prefecture, where tatara ironmaking is practised, and was engaged in sword forging at the closest location to Japan's only tamahagane production site.This sword is a replica of the Fukuoka Ichimonji, which was the primary goal of Sadateru's life, and is a magnificent sword with a splendid, heavy cho-ji midare pattern and a dignified appearance.

[ Conditions ] There is some slight rubbing on the inside and around the yokote. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
