[ Size ] Blade length 21.8cm (7 sun 1 bu 9 rin), uchi-zori attached, moto-haba 2.02cm, moto-kasane 0.72cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 142.4g , shirasaya length 35.5cm
[ Period ] Muromachi, second half of
[ Province ] Tosa "土佐"

[ Feature ]
Form : Hira-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is ordinal. Kasane is thick. Uchi-zori attached.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are shallow katte-sagari. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada, which has some changes. Masa mixed. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Narrow sugu-ha. Ko-nie attached.
Boushi : (omote) it runs in sugu. It turns in ko-maru (ura) it shows yaki-tsuma pattern.

[ Highlight ] Tosa Yoshimitsu "土佐吉光" is the pupil of Yamato Senjuin "大和千手院" or Tegai-mon "手掻" school. Or the pupil of Yamashiro Awadaguchi Masamitsu "山城粟田口正光". The first generation is said to have been worked around the time of Tokuji "徳治" (1306-1308). On the other hand, there is a theory that it is more likely to have been created around 1455-1457 (Kosho"康正"). This work has thick kasane, uchizori attached, yoroi-doshi form. It is identified to have been created by Tosa Yoshimitsu "土佐吉光" in the late Muromachi period.

[ Conditions ] There is a few minor nicks, natural scratches caused by forging.
