[ Province ] Settsu

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, wide body, average thickness, slightly different width at the base and tip, curvature with medium cutting edge.
Nakago : Ubu raw-stemmed, rasped with o-sujikai, saki has kurijiri shape, with a single mekugi hole.
Jigane : Itame grain skin is well-grained, and the base nie attached.
Hamon : It is immediately burnished in sugu form, with alternating lines and a mixture of wavy lines, with a deep nioi, and is nie attached well , with sunagashi and yubashiri appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu form, then it return to the ko-maru small circle.

[ Highlight ] Sukehiro was a swordsmith of the Shimada school and is said to have been a student of Tsuda Sukehiro. He moved from Suruga to Settsu and created swords. This sword has a wide body with a slight difference in width at the base and tip, and has a deep nioi with a well-attached nie gunome blade pattern of alternating blades interlaced with notare wavy blades.

[ Conditions ] There is a very slight edge spillage on the blade edge about 4 cm above the machi-ume. The signature on the stem is partially decayed. Otherwise generally excellent.
