[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are oridinal. Relatively high sori attached. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Suri-age. Yasurimes are katte-sagari and their sujikai like mixed. Saki is kiri. One hole.
Engraving : Both on omote and ura, there are bo-hi grooves.
Jigane : Itame-hada with some changes mixed, becoming masa. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared. Grained patterns come to be surface.
Hamon : Sugu-ha, ko-gunomes mixed. Nie attached well. Kin-sens and sunagashi appeared. Yubashiri taste tobiyaki make the ni-ju-ba, double running blade.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. (omote) nie becoming flame form (ura) it runs in ko-maru form. Saki has haki-kake shape.

[ Highlight ] At the western foot of Mount Wakakusa in Nara, there is a temple dedicated to the Thousand-armed Kannon (Goddess of Mercy), and a group of swordsmiths who lived in the area and were supported by a monastery are known as the Senjuin school. Of the five Yamato schools, the Senjuin school is the oldest, dating back to the late Heian period. This sword has a masa-ga karu skin with a forged surface, kin-sen and sunagashi, and a double blade shape with yubashiri and is characterised by its remarkable variety among yamatomono.
