Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Moderate sori attached. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada very much grained. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Sugu. Deep nioi appeared. Rich ko-nie attached.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Form is ko-maru. It turns deeply.

[ Highlight ] Hayama Enshin (Koka "弘化" 2 - February 14, 1920) was a samurai of the Toyohashi clan who lived in Shitaya Yanaka, Edo. He was a pupil of Masao Suzuki and called himself Suzuki Shôgaku. He is a swordsmith from Musashi who made swords during the Meiji and Taisho periods. He died at the age of 75, his Buddhist name being "浄雲院殿忠尚正覚円真大居士". The inscriptions include " 正覚", " 浄雲斉羽山円真造之", " 羽山円真", " 浄雲斉円真謹鍛之", " 浄雲斉羽山円真精鍛". There are yearly works of Meiji 31, 34, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, Taisho 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc. This work has a characteristic pheasant-shaped stem kiji-mata nakago with a slender, well-defined body. Well-forged and sparkling jigane iron without looseness. The blade is straight with ko-nie attached and nioi appeared. It is thought to be a copy of the Awataguchi style, which was his speciality. Created in 1915, when Enshin was 70 years old. Inscribed for the banker Shigemi Imamura. There is an inital of "Tsukiyomi" in Habaki.

[ Conditions ] Some minor rusting and chipping. But it is generally good.
