[ Period ] Muromachi, second half of.
[ Province ] Wakasa

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is not so wide. Compared with width, kasane is relatively thick. High shinogi attached. There are some diffrences between mot-haba and saki-haba.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are o-suji-kais. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada.Grained surface tends to be appeared on the surface. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Gunome-midares. Nie attached well. Sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in shallow notare. Nie attached. It turns in ko-maru form.

Wakizashi with black roiro lacquered scabbard: horse design on menuki (red copper, intaglio engraving, gilt), Daikokuten (Daikokuten) with samurai design on sword mount (shakudo, nanako-ji fish-egg-shaped, high relief, gilt), sansui-an design on sword guard (iron,sue-mon inlay, gilt).

[ Highlight ] The son of Tsugihiro, a descendant of Soshu Hiromitsu, he is said to have emigrated from Sagami Province to Obama in Wakasa Province around Meio in the middle of the Muromachi period (1336-1573), and there are several generations with the same name. The highlight of this sword is the gunome-midare blade pattern with well-attached nie. It is in a good condition Wakizashi with a good set of armrests. It is a long wakizashi with a slim but thick in kasane.

[ Conditions ] Slight scratches and minor rusting, but generally excellent.

[ Attachments ] Habaki (suaka-ji, gold iroe, single), koshirae, bag of koshirae and NBTHK Hozon paper (issued on 25th August Reiwa 4(2022)).
