Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is ordinal. Moderate sori attached. CHu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes ae o-suji-kais and kesho. Saki form is kengyo. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada.
Hamon : Gunome-midare, o-gunomes and cho-ji-bas style blade mixed. Deep nioi and ashi appeared. Nie attached. Sunagashis and tobiyakis appeaered.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Saki has a little haki-kake. Then it tunrs deep.

[ Highlight ] The Eshu Ishido school of swordsmiths in the Koto period diverged into the Edo, Chikuzen, Kishu and other regions in the Shintō period, and while specialising in Chōshi-randori, each school produced different blade patterns with different tastes. Mutsu no Mamoru Tameyasu was a swordsmith of the Kii Ishido school in the mid-Edo period, around Empo. He was the son of Tosa Shogun Tameyasu I, the founder of the Kii Ishido school, and was named Tomita Rokurozaemon, the second generation of the school. He was the younger brother of Yasuhiro (Tomita Gorozaemon), who moved from Kishu to Osaka and became the founder of the Osaka Ishido school. He also made swords in the town of Kami Kuhodera in Osaka, and there are inscriptions such as 'Mutsu Mamoru Tachibana Tameyasu' and 'Tomita Oshu oo Egishi Zukuri', and there are also pieces dated Enpo 3 and 4. This sword has a deep odour, a wide range of burnishing, and a gorgeous, turbulent blade that is boiled with flying flames.
