Form : Kanmuri-otoshi-zukuri. Low height iori-suji attached. Yokote-suji observed. Kasane is thick. There are few differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Shallo sori attached. O-kissaki form.
Nakago : Suri-age. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki is kiri. Three holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Mokumes mixed. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Shallow notare, small midare-bas mixed. Mura-nie attached. Tobiyaki appeared frequently.
Boushi : It runs in shallow midare-komi. Saki is haki-kake form.

[ Highlight ] The Kanefusa school is a group of swordsmiths who made swords in Yamato from the end of the Muromachi period to the Shintō period. It is thought to be the last school of the Tegaki and Senjuin schools. The swordsmiths include Masashige from the Eisho period, Masakage and Masazane from the Taiei period, Masayasu from the Kyoroku period, Masamasa, Masakiyo, Masatada and Masatsugu from the Tenmon period, Masatsugu, Masanaga and Masasuke from the Eiroku period and Masamune from the Tensho period. The Nihongo, praised since ancient times as one of the three most famous spears in Japan, is unsigned but is thought to have been made by the Kanefusa school. This work has a kanmuriotoshi-zukuri style with a shallow warp and an o-kissaki tip. The low construction of the iori-mune and the small, sloppy, turbulent blade with a mura-nie pattern are characteristic of the Kanefusa school, and the back of the blade is particularly vigorous with a lot of tobiki-yaki.
