[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. High sori attached. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : O-suri-age. Yasurimes are kiri. Saki is kiri. Two holes.
Engraving : (omote) su-ken (ura) koshi-hi with line-shape end.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Mokumes mixed. Jinie attached, with some changes.
Hamon : Gunome-midare. Ashis appeared. Nie attached well. Kin-sens and sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Form is ko-maru. Saki is haki-kake shape.

[ Highlight ] Kanenobu, who lived in Shiga, Mino, is one of the most famous swordsmiths of Shiga-Seki. He is called as Yamada-Seki as well. The sword was made in the area of present-day Shika-cho and nearby Yamada-cho in Kita-ku, Nagoya. It is said to be the former Yamada-so of Nishi-harui County. In addition to Kanenobu, other swordsmiths of the school include Nobutsugu, Kunitsugu and Kaneshige.　Kanenobu is one of the most prolific sword swordsmiths of his school. The earliest known date is the 3rd year of the Meiou era.　It is thought that the name was passed down through several generations until the end of the Muromachi period. The jigane has a blackish tinge, and the surface attached to be in a state of nie. The pattern of the blade is excellent, with a well-developed nie and sunagashis. Although suriage was done, it attached high sori. And the engraving shows good features.

[ Conditions ] On the reverse side, the jigane is slightly more showing its surface patterns than on the front.
