[ Size ] Blade length 12.7cm (4 sun 1 bu 9 rin), moto-kasane 0.24cm, blade weight 16.5g , kogatana length 21.5cm, shirasaya length 23.4cm
[ Period ] Edo, second half of.
[ Province ] Satsuma

[ Feature ]
Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. Ko-notare- hamon blade, nie attached well Saki is haki-kake. It becomes flame shape.

Masayuki Hoki-no-kami was born in 18 Kyoho. He was the son of Masayoshi Ijichi II and succeeded Masayoshi III as Hoki-no-mamoru, after which he changed his name to Masayuki. Together with Oku Motohira, he was one of the leading swordsmiths of Satsuma's shin-shin-to swordsmiths. He died in the first year of Bunsei at the age of 86.

[ Highlight ] It is well attached nie and has a long, flaming, boushi of excellent workmanship. The stem is long and unusually for Masayoshi, the diagonal file is in the shape of a suji-kai stripe.

[ Conditions ] There is small rust 5cm above mune side machi-ue.
