[ Size ]Blade length 62.4cm (2 shaku 0 sun 5 bu 9 rin), sori curvature 1.7cm (2 bu 3 rin), moto-haba base width 2.68cm, Moto-kasane 0.55cm, saki-haba tip width 1.80cm, saki-kasane tip thickness 0.45cm, 3 mekugi holes, blade weight 466g, shira-saya total length 87cm
[ Period ] Muromachi
[ Province ] Mino

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Saki-zori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Engraving : Both on front and back, there are bo-"hi"s grooves.
Nakago : Suri-age. Yasurime are kiri. Saki is kiri. Three holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Toward blade side, there are some changes. Jinie attached. It is well grained which patterns come to be surface with shirake-utsuri.
Hamon : Hos-sugu-ha. Habuchi shows some hotsure (loosened pattern) Kui-chigai-ba mixed. Ko-nie attached.
Boushi : It runs in straight sugu form. It turns in round. Saki has haki-kake shape.

[ Highlight ] Kanetsune was a swordsmith from Seki, Mino, and several generations existed from the Muromachi period to the Shintō period. This work has a suri-age appearance, with a straight gloove running down the front and back, an itame-hada blade that flows close together and the jigane is white-toned, and the fine straight blade has a tightened appearance between jigane with attached ko-nie. Both base-iron ji and blade have bright appearance.

[ Conditions ] Old polishing and slightly flaws, but can be preserved and appreciated in its current state.
