[ Feature ] This is a single piece recognised as the work of Tenryu-shi Hisakazu. Hisakazu was a disciple of Ozaki Suketaka from Echigo Katakai, known as Tachibana Heizaemon, and was a swordsmith who lived in Ise Yamada.There are swords with inscriptions from the Bunkyu 1, 2, 3, and 4, Keio 2, and Meiji 3 periods. The signatures include ‘Tenryu-shi Tachibana Hisakazu,’ ‘Tenryu-shi Taira Hisakazu,’ ‘Kiso Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu,’ ‘Seishu Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu,’ ‘Setsu-shu Sakai Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu,’ and ‘Omi Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu.’ [ Conditions ] There are partial decay, minor rust, and flaws. Even after polishing, some traces of decay may remain, but they are not deep. |
