[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, ordinary width, slightly thick layer of grain, difference in width between base and tip, very slight curvature, medium cutting edge.
Nakago : Raw tang, o-sujikai large file marks, cosmetic filing, square kuri-jiri tip, one mekugi hole.
Jigane : The jigane is masame-hada straight-grained, well-grained, with fine ji-nie.
Hamon : The blade pattern is sugu-ha straight, with a deep nioi and good nie, and is covered with sunagashi.
Boushi : It is straight with a small round return and a swept tip.

[ Highlight ]This sword is characterised by its very shallow curvature and ordinary width, but with a thick thickness, making it a sturdy Shinshin-to sword. The jigane is well-grained with a straight grain pattern and fine ji-nie, and the hamon is straight with many layers of sunagashi.

This is a single piece recognised as the work of Tenryu-shi Hisakazu. Hisakazu was a disciple of Ozaki Suketaka from Echigo Katakai, known as Tachibana Heizaemon, and was a swordsmith who lived in Ise Yamada.There are swords with inscriptions from the Bunkyu 1, 2, 3, and 4, Keio 2, and Meiji 3 periods. The signatures include ‘Tenryu-shi Tachibana Hisakazu,’ ‘Tenryu-shi Taira Hisakazu,’ ‘Kiso Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu,’ ‘Seishu Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu,’ ‘Setsu-shu Sakai Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu,’ and ‘Omi Tenryu Tachibana Hisakazu.’

[ Conditions ] There are partial decay, minor rust, and flaws. Even after polishing, some traces of decay may remain, but they are not deep.
