[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is thick. A shallow sori attached. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Machi is advanced around 3.03cm (i-ssun). Yasurimes are katte-sagairi. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada is in nagare-gokoro. Fine jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : Suguha which nioi-kuchi is in distinctive mode. Ko-gunomes mixed. Nie attached well. Fine kinsens and sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Saki is haki-kake and round. It turns long with haki-kake.
Fujiwara Saneyuki was a swordsmith of Bungo Takada school. They had signature such as Bu-shû Takada-jû Fujiwara etc. "豊州高田住藤原某" or Bungo Takada-jû Fujiwara etc. "豊後高田住藤原某 " so that they were called Fujiwara Takada. The ancestor of this Fujiwara Takada school was said that first generation Tomoyuki ( around Kenmu "建武" (1334-38) of Northern and Southern Dynasties (in Japan)). Currently, the oldest remaining swords can be seen created in Bun-an(1444-1448), Hôutoku(1449-1451) of Muromachi period. Bungo Takada school flourished during Muromachi through Edo period. There were several generations of Saneyukis. This sword was considered created during early thorough middle of Edo period.

[ Highlight ] The third stroke of character "實", it horizontal line bend at centre. The sword which has similar signature is owned by the Ô-ita prefectural museum of history. The sword is wakizashi with gunome-chô-ji-midare hamon. (e.g. signature "銘 藤原実行"). It was considered that the same swordsmith Saneyuki created both swords. Well grained jigane, suguha with nie evenly attached. Around mono-uchi nie attached much more. Fine kinsens and sunagashi appeared. The sword with tasteful workmanship.
[ Conditions ] It has been polished recently. Excellent.
