[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Kasane is ordinal. Hira-ji part is thick in its volume. Relatively high shinogi and moderate sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are sujikai and kesho. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained.
Hamon : Gunome-midare. Ashis and yos appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. It turns in ko-maru form.

Uhei "宇平", whose name Uhei Kaawaguchi "川口宇兵衛", was a swordsmith from Miyazaki prefecture, Japan. His works are dated from Showa "昭和" 48, 49, 51~53(1973, 1974, 1976-78), He is known for his work in Miyazaki Prefecture (e.g. "日州住宇平" "日州住宇平作以日向灘砂鉄鍛之")

[ Conditions ]
Old polish, with hike-marks, light rust and cloudiness. The blade is still intact. The sword guard is chipped at the watermark, but is otherwise in good condition.
