[ Size ] Blade length 69.2cm (2 shaku 2 sun 8 bu 3 rin), sori curvature 1.6cm (5 bu 2 rin), moto-haba base width 3.04cm, Moto-kasane 0.65cm, saki-haba tip width 2.20cm, saki-kasane tip thickness 0.50cm, 2 mekugi holes, blade weight 663g, shira-saya total length 98cm

[ Province ] Bizen

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is rather wide, and so is saki-haba. Saki-zori attached. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Suri-age. Yasurime are katte-sagari. Saki is ha-agari, kuri-jiri form. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada with some changes, mokume mixed. Jinie attached. Midare-utsuri come to be appeared.
Hamon : In shallow notare, ko-gunome mixed. Nioi-kuchi show tight appearance. Nie attached. Kin-sen, suangashi and tobi-yaki appeared.
Boushi : It shows midare-komi shape. It turns in ko-maru form.

[ Highlight ] Sukesada was a Bizen swordsmith school from the end of the Muromachi period, and there were many swordsmiths who used the same signature, responding to the demand for swords in an era of frequent warfare. This work has a slightly raised, wide body, and the jiba is brilliant with a wavy blade pattern and a prominent reflection. It is a magnificent sword.

[ Conditions ] Excellent.
