[ Feature ]
Form : Hira-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Small size tantô form. There are bô-"hi"s on face and back side.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kai. Saki is shallow kurijiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada, then change to masa. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nioi based suguha. Nioi-kuchi is not so noticeable. A little notare attached. Waving kinsens appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, then turns in ko-maru.

Swordsmith Kunihiro was born in Aomori pref. on 18th July Shôwa 16(1941). His family and given name were NAKAHATA Mitsugu. There was a swordsmith in same name, and he respected HORIKAWA Kunihiro, so that his swordsmith name was decided. He learned swords creation under swordsmith Kunitoshi. He has been aiming for creationg RAI Kunitoshi, Kanenaga or Kunihiro. This tantô was created in his 41 years old.

[ Highlight ]
Characteristic surface with hada tone is so specific. Small size tantô with nice atmosphere.
