[ Feature ]
Form : Shionogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal and sturdy. There are some diffreneces between moto-haba and saki-haba. Very shallow sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Suri-age. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is kiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : Sugu-ha tone. Shallow notare mixed. Ko-gunomes mixed. Ko-ashis and kin-sen appeared. Nie attached.
Boushi : It runs in shallow notare form. It turns in ko-maru shape.
[ Highlight ] Terukado was a Mino swordsmith who made swords mainly in the Manji period of the Edo period, also making swords in Ise and Edo. He made inscriptions such as 'Tanba Daijyo Fujiwara Terukado', 'Tanba no kami Fujiwara Terukado', 'Koshu Tanba no kami Fujiwara Terukado', 'Tanba no kami Fujiwara Terukado in Seki on Nanban iron' and 'Tanba no kami Fujiwara Terukado in Kuwana on Jigane wo oroshi kore wo tsukuru'. It is dated to the 2nd year of the Manji era. This work has The warp is very shallow in shape, the machi is advanced one inch long, and the stem ends are cut for shortening. And a well-grained jigane iron with jinie and a chikei. The blade has a solid hand-holding feel. The inscription "Seki nioite Yoshisada kore wo tsukuru" is of great interest in understanding the lineage of Terukado and is considered to be of documentary value.
[ Conditions ] There is one vertical abrasion on the front surface around the mono-uchi. On the front of the white scabbard handle, near the mekugi-ana hole, there are marks where the hammer part of the 'mekugi-nuki puller' has been pressed down.
