[ Highlight ] Yamato no kami Nobusada I is a swordsmith in the line of Enju. During the Kan'ei period, swords are known to have been made in Higo and Kokura before Buzen. It is inscribed "豊州小倉住大和守藤原宣貞奉納宇佐八幡大菩薩丙午八月吉日", "肥後隈本住宣貞", "大和藤原宣貞" and has a date of Kan'ei 3. The second generation of the family took over the name around the Genroku period. In ancient times, the arrowhead-shaped spear of Chinsei Hachiro Tamenaga was famous, and as a weapon of good fortune to win battles, the Shogunate had a new spear made by the Imperial Forge every time the Shogun's family changed.
