[ Highlight ] Sukekuni Kato was born in 1928 and his real name is Kazuaki Kato. From 1941 until the end of the war, he learned how to create swords from his grandfather and father. His first signature was Sukekuni, taking one character from his grandfather Sukekuni and one from his father Tsunetaka, and later he took the name Sukekuni III. After the war, he obtained approval to create swords in 1968, and many of his works were selected for the New Master Swords Exhibition. This work has a curved form that follows the style of a mid-Kamakura-period sword, and is over 2 shaku 5 sun long. The jigane has a fine itame-hada texture, and the cho-ji midare wavy blade pattern is beautifully formed, allowing you to enjoy the Bizen-den style that Sukekuni studied and aimed to achieve.

[ Conditions ] There is a small flaw on the blade of the sword, in the middle of the guard. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
