[ Size ] Blade length 54.5cm (1 shaku 7 sun 9 bu 8 rin), sori warp 1.3cm (4 bu 2 rin), moto-haba base width 2.73cm, moto-kasane base thickness 0.49cm, saki-haba tip width 1.87cm, saki-kasane tip thickness 0.42cm, mekugi-ana hole 1 piece, blade weight 454.5g, shira-saya total length 80cm
[ Period ] Muromachi, end of. Around Tenbun 天文
[ Province ] Bingo

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. High shinogi-suji attached. There are some differences between moto-haba and saki-haba width. Moderate sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurime are katte-sagari. Saki is iri-yama-gata. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada. Rich jinie attached. Fine chikei appeared.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Nie attached well. Ko-ashi appeared, which loosened into sunagashi.
Boushi : It runs in sugu form. Shape is ko-maru. Saki has haki-kake form. It turns rather long.

[ Highlight ] Masahisa was a representative swordsmith of the Bingo Kaimihara lineage, whose fame was passed down from generation to generation from the Meitoku (Nanbokucho era) to the Tensho (Momoyama era) period. This sword has a good shape, with ko-itame grain skin and a thick ji-nie with fine chikei, and the nie-based sugu-ha blade design, which the Kai Mihara school specialised in.

[ Conditions ] Old polishing, slightly cloudy, with small chip in the ha-machi section.
