[ Size ] Blade length 52.7cm (1 shaku 7 sun 3 bu 9 rin), sori 1.2cm (3 bu 9 rin), moto-haba 2.98cm, moto-kasane 0.66cm, saki-haba 2.22 cm, saki-kasane 0.48 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 523.5g , shirasaya length 78.3cm
[ Period ] Edo, middle of.
[ Province ] Mino

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zkukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. A little sor attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are o-suji-kais. Saki is iri-yama-gata. One hole. A little, mach has been advanced.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada. Mokume mixed. Jinie attached. Fine chikei appeared.
Hamon : In gunome, cho-ji-ba and togari-ba mixed. Nie attached well. Ara-nie mixed. Tobi-yaki appeared.
Boushi : It has sugu form. It turns in ko-maru shape.

[ Highlight ] Bicchū no Kami Kiyonobu was the son of Omi no Kami Kiyonobu and a swordsmith of the Tokunaga school of the Mino Seki Shichiryu style. He made swords in Mino during the middle of the Edo period, around the Enpo era. This is a well-shaped wakizashi with a well-tempered jigane (the iron of the blade) and a fine mixture of mokume (wood grain) and jinie (attached ground pattern), and the bright, undulating hamon (the pattern of the blade) is particularly powerful, with a lot of continuous tobi-yaki (flame pattern).

[ Conditions ] There is a slight flaw and cloudiness, but it is generally in excellent condition.
