[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is rather thick. High shinogi-suji attached. Shinogi-haba is rather wide. Shallow sori attached. A little short chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurime are higaki. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Fine chikei appeared. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Notare pattern mixed. Rich nie attached. Part by part aranie attached as well. Sweet-potato vines patterned nie-suji attached. Yubashiri appeared.
Boushi : It has sugu. It turns in o-maru shape.

[ Highlight ] The Naminohira school was a group of swordsmiths who created swords in Taniyama, Satsuma, from the end of the Heian period to the end of the Edo period. This sword bears the Keio 3-nen signature of Shin-tou Nami-no-hira Yukiyasu, the sixty-third generation of the school from its founder Masakuni, who is said to have emigrated from Yamato Province. The jigane has a well-deepened itame-hada skin, with a ground nie boiling and a ground chikei landscape. The blade design is a straight blade style mixed with a notare curved blade and well nie attached with yubashiri. Another highlight is the pronounced potato vine-like nie-streaks characteristic of Satsuma shinto swords.
