[ Size ] Blade length 52.8cm (1 shaku 7 sun 4 bu 2 rin), sori 1.1cm (3 bu 6 rin), moto-haba 2.85cm, moto-kasane 0.63cm, saki-haba 2.45 cm, saki-kasane 0.54 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 545g , shirasaya length 79.5cm
[ Period ] North and South Dynasties "南北朝" (1337 -1392)
[ Province ] Bingo "備後"

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. There are few differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. High shinogi and moderate sori attached. Ô-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ô-suri-age. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole. Both on omote and ura sides, there are straight grooves bô-hi.
Jigane : Itamehada, which patterns may come to the surface. Mokumes and changing masa patterns mixed. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Chû-suguha. Ko-gunomes mixed. Some changes around edge of blade ha-buchi. Kui-chigai-bas mixed. Nie attached well. Nioi-kuchi is so bright and clear.
Boushi : It runs in shallow notare. Saki tends to become sharp with little haki-kake. It turns deep.

[ Highlight ] The wakizashi of which the ô-kissaki boldness of is characteristic. The Ko-Mihara were a group of swordsmiths who created swords in the region known as Mihara in Bingo Province from the end of the Kamakura period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties. There are many manors of Yamato shrines and temples in this area.、There appeared to be a lot of exchange. The highlight of the exhibition is the style, which shows the Yamato school spirit. This work presents a forged skin like a crepe skin. There is also a mixture of aoe styles.
