[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Kasane is ordinal. Relatively high sori attached. There are some differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are ô-suji-kais. Saki is iri-yama-gata. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Rich jinie attached.
Hamon : In notare, gunomes and chô-ji-bas mixed. Clear distinction between blade and base iron. Ahis appeared. Nie attached well. Suna-gashis and tobi-yaki appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Saki form iturns in komaru form.
[ Highlight ] His home country was Yamato, and his name was Yamada Heidayu. A pupil of Iga no Kami Kanemichi in the school of Sa Kaneyasu. He lived in Tokiwa-machi, Osaka, and made his sword around the Edo period (1603-1867) .The inscriptions are "摂州住藤原包貞","摂州大坂住越後守包貞", "越後守包貞", "包貞", etc. Based on the inscription, this piece is thought to be a relatively early work, before it was received by the Echigonp-kmai. Chronological works include Keian III and IV, Jouou III and Manji I (e.g. 慶安三・四、承応三、万治元). Both the base and the blade are attached nie well, and this is a sword of high quality.
