[ Size ] : Blade length : 72.4cm (2 Shaku 3 sun 8 bu 9 rin), sori : 2.5cm (8 bu 2 rin), moto-haba : 3.31 cm, moto-kasane : 0.70 cm, saki-haba : 2.20cm, saki-kasane : 0.41cm, mekugi-ana(hole) : 1, blade weight : 822 g, koshirae length : 105cm
[ Period ] : Around end of Edo
[ Province ] : Unknown

[ Features ] : Shape: Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is ordinal.
Sori attached deep and clean. shallow. Chukissaki in strong form.
Nakago : Ubu, yasumes are sujikai. Saki is kurijiri. One holes.

Jigane : Itame-hada, well grained. It becomes nagare-gokoro.
Hamon : In nioi-deki, gunome-midare. Cho-ji-ba mixed. Ashi and tobiyaki appeared. Kinsuji and sunagashi attached.
Boushi : It runs sugu, hakikake. It turns in togari-gokoro.

Cha-urushi nuri-zaya uchigatana-koshirae : Shakudo-ji fuchi-gashira (karakusa-mon(arabesque) motif), Tetsu(iron)-tsuba (kiku(chrysanthemum) karakusa-mon kin(gold) nunome-zougan(inlay)), menuki (awa-ho(an ear of millet) motif, tsuki-kari(moon - wild goose) motif))

[ Highlight ] :
Well balanced, fine form sword. It was considered that the sword was used for actual cutting but there were no ha-kobore nor magari(bending) around monouchi. Only around kissaki, there are a few ha-kobores. It has massive volume but well balanced so that it was preferred by practical handling. The signature is not gurantee.

[ Condition ] : There are relatively obvious hikes around the monouchi. There is ko-sabi(small rust) on the mune. There are a few tiny hakobores at kissaki. Koshirae maintains excellent conditions.
