[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Shinogi-haba is wide. Shallow sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : O-suriage. Yasurimes are kiri. Saki is kiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada. With some changes, well grained. Rich and fine jinie attached.
Hamon : Sugu-ha pattern. Ko-gunome shape blade and kui-chigai-ba mixed. Border between hamon and jigane more or less merged. Ko-nie attached. Kin-sen and sunagashi appeared.
Boushi : It shows some notare. It turns in ko-maru form. Saki is haki-kake. Front omote side has ni-ju bas.

[ Highlight ] The Yamato Tegai School was a group of swordsmiths who lived and made swords outside the Tegaimon Gate, the main western gate of Todaiji Temple, with Hoei as its founder, around the middle of the Kamakura period. They are believed to have been a group of swordsmiths closely associated with Todaiji Temple. This sword has been identified as being made by the Tegai school of the Muromachi period. Itame grain forged surface and straight blades show the highlights of the Yamato Tegai school.

[ Conditions ] There is no shira-saya handle, only the scabbard is attached. There is some minor rust and scuffing to the habaki-moto.
