[ Feature ]
Form : Hira-zukuri form, iori-mune, ordinary width and thickness, curved at the tips.
Nakago : Raw, file marks sloping downwards, tip rounded, one mekugi hole.
Jigane : The jigane is itame-hada with mokume-grain and nagare-hada mixed, with ji-nie.
Hamon : The hamon is notare curved with gunome mixed, with ko-nie.
Boushi : It is shallowly curved with a small round shape on the front, straight with a small round shape on the back, and slightly swept at the tip.

[ Highlight ] This is a short sword from the Muromachi period with a curved tip. The blackish jigane clearly shows the forged surface. Compared to the shape of the tang, the base of the blade has been ground down to reduce its thickness, and the width of the blade has also been narrowed. This was probably done to make it easier to carry, but it shows that it was still treasured.

[ Conditions ] There are some areas where the surface has become rough due to grinding, and there is slight rust and cloudiness on the hiraji and rust on the mune. The shira-saya and habaki are new.

[ Attachments ] Habaki(suaka-ji, single), shirasaya and bag of shirasaya.
