[ Feature ]
Motohira ; He was a OKU Motohira's legitimate child. He worked around Bunsei era.
Form : Smaller than the plam of hand, miniature kan-muri-otoshi-zukuri "冠落造" taste tantô. Kasane is thick. Mune does not become iori. Ko-niku attached.
Nakago : There is a gaku-mei "額銘". Yasurimes are ô-suji-kais. Saki is ken-gata. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Ko-nie attached.
Boushi : It turns in ko-maru. Saki has haki-kake.
Masamori ; He learned under Maruta Sôzaemon Masafusa. Later, he became a pupil of Mondo-no-shô Masakiyo. It was said that he performed signature for a teacher. His first signature was Masamichi "正道". He worked around Kyô-hô "享保".
Form : Making kogatana lager, and width wider. Finished in fukura attached form. Both front omote and back ura polished. There is a tô-shin-mei.
Nakago : Yasurimes are suji-kais and keshô. Saki is ken-gata.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Shallow notare and nie attached.
Boushi : Jizô-boushi. Something like drifting cloud nie attached.
No signature ;
Form : It has a form a little wider width kogatana.
Nakago : It is relatively wider, too. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is iri-yama-gata.
Jigane : omote : itame-nagare. ura : itame-hada, mokume mixed. Jinie attached.
Hamon : omote : in sugu tone. Nie attached. Sunagashi appeared.
Boushi : It is in kaen form. ura : gunome-midare, nie attached well. Yubashiri appeared. But boushi is kaen as well. Omote and ura have different finish, however, there are common points, closer to boushi, dynamic nie with great spirit attached.
