[ Size ] Blade length 26.1cm (8 sun 6 bu 1 rin), sori - cm (n/a), moto-haba 2.22cm, moto-kasane 0.53cm, mekugi-ana(holes) 2, blade weight 151.2g , shirasaya length 42cm, koshirae length 54.5cm
[ Period ] Muromachi, end of.
[ Province ] Unknown

[ Feature ]
Form : Hira-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. No sori attached form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Notare. Gunomes mixed. Nie attached well with some ara-nie. Long sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Tip is sharp. It turns long with attached nie.

Tanto koshirae ; Tsuba : design of U-ryu dragon, fuchi-gashira : design of dragon, menuki : design of fish and plants

[ Highlight ] The blade is shallowly curved and cut in a series of gunomes alternating patterns, with a long, brilliant, nie blade pattern. The country of the swordsmith is unknown, but it is thought to be a tanto short sword from the late Muromachi period.

[ Conditions ] It is slightly sharpening worn and has minor rust.

[ Attachments ] Habaki(suaka-ji, signle), shirasaya, bag of shirasaya, koshirae, bag of koshirae and NBTHK hozon paper "保存刀剣鑑定書"(issued on 29th Jan. Heisei 22(2010))
