[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is thick. There is difference between moto-haba and saki-haba. Shallow sori attached. Chû-kissaki, saki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are taka-nohas. Saki is kuri-jiri, maru-mune. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : It runs in sugu at yaki-dashi. In ko-notare pattern, gunomes mixed. Nie attached well. Ko-ashi, yô, fine sunagashi and tobi-yaki appeared. Part by part, shinogi-ji and mune tempered.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, then becomes shallow notare. Saki turns long in komaru shape.

Swordsmith Hidetoki's native place was Mino province. He origin was Tokuin school. He called himself Gonbei. He learned under Masatsune. He created the swords at Settsu province in first half of Edo period, aroud Shôho"正保". He created the swords in Edo or Owari. He had his signature such as "関住山城守藤原秀辰" or "山城守藤原秀辰", etc.
