[ Feature ]
Form : Kanmuri-otoshi form. Karaneis relatively thick considering its mi-haba. No sori attahced small size tanto form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are not so specific. Saki is shallow kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. It becomes showing no grained patterns appeared on the surface.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Deep nioi, kin-sens and sunagashis appeared. Nie attached well.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Ko-maru form. Saki is haki-kake. Tempered area goes downward long. Backside, kui-chigai-bas mixed.
Reddish brown, variegated lacquered scabbard, ai-kuchi-composed: cloud design, menuki (gold coloured painting with inlay on Jigane) and menuki (gold coloured painting with inlay on copper).
[ Highlight ] This is a fresh short sword with a straight blade with a nie effect, and the long burnished blade with a lowered boushi is a highlight. It has a small kissaki appearance with a double-edged blade, and is stored in an aikuchi-koshirae (a small piece of furniture) from the end of the Edo period.
[ Conditions ] Old polishing. There is decay in the stem.
