[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is thick. Shallow sori attached. Chukissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is iri-yama-gata. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Mokumes mixed. A littel grained patterns come to be appeared on the surface. Rich jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : Chu-sugu-ha. Ko-gunomes mixed. Nioikuchi, distiction between blade and jigane is clear. Ko-nie attached. Part by part, mune-yakis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Saki turns sharply.

[ Highlight ] Nanki Kunimitsu is called Misaki, Taro. He is said to be a Kii swordsmith who created swords in the late Edo period, mainly around the Ansei period (1854-1860). He is also said to have made a sword in Yotsuya, Edo. It is engraved with the inscriptions "南紀住藤原国光"(Nanki resident, Fujiwara Kunimitsu) and "南紀国光彫同作" (Nanki Kunimitsu carving and created) as such. This work has a sturdy shape with a shallow curvature and an extended chu-kissaki tip.　There are three puncture marks on the ridge, suggesting that it was fought by an experienced swordsman. These remnants of historical battles are known as honour wounds and are one of the highlights of the appreciation.

[ Conditions ] The sword has a slight "hike" scratch and a small rust on the muneji about 3cm above the machi. Good for conservation and appreciation.
