[ Signature ] omote : "相州山内之住廣次" ura : -
[ Size ] Blade length 29,5cm ( 6 sun 4 bu 3 rin), sori 0,1cm (3 rin), moto-haba 2,74cm, moto-kasane 0,54cm, saki-kasane 0,54 cm, mekugi-ana(holes) 2, blade weight 223,5g , shirasaya length 45,5cm
[ Period ] Muromachi
[ Province ] Sagami

[ Feature ]
Form : Hira-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. A little sori attached. Tantô form. On omote, there is a goma-bashi, on ura, there is koshi-hi groove.
Nakago : On ura, it maintains ubu. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki is kurijiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itamehada is distinctive tatsu. For mune side, nagare-gokoro mixed. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared.
Hamon : Gunome-midare. Ashis and yô appeared. Nie attached well. Sunagashi, tobi-yaki, mune-yaki and yu-bashiri appeared.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. Saki becomes shapened. It turns long.

Hirotsugu was a decent of Sagami province swordsmith. There were some genrations who had same name from Nanboku-chô through Muromachi period. It was known that they were scattered around Tenmon (1532-1555). Area of Yamanouchi is corresponding tocurrent Yamanouchi twon, Kamakura city.

[ Highlight ] There are virety of chages in midare-"ba"s. Nie attached, strong reflection. Becoming hitatsura shape, dynamic finish tantô.
