[ Province ] Ecchu

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, with a medium width and thickness, a shallow sori curve, and a chu-kissaki medium cutting edge.
Engraving : A bar-shaped groove on both sides.
Nakago : O-suriage, msvhi advanced, yasurime pattern is kiri, and three mekugi holes.
Jigane : It has an itame-hada grain, with some mokume mixed in, and the surface is slightly grained patterns come to be raised, with attached jinie.
Hamon : Relaxed curve, with a mixture of gunome, ko-notare, ko-gunome and pointy hamon, with a bright nioiguchi, ko-nie, kin-sen and sunagashi, and yu-bashiri appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, komaru small circle form, with a haki-kake sweeping tip.

[ Highlight ] The Uda school was a school of sword makers that flourished from the end of the Kamakura period (around the Bunpo era) to the Muromachi period, after Ko-nyudo Kunimitsu moved from Uda county in Yamato province to Etchu. The first generation Kunimune was said to be the son of Kunimitsu and the younger brother of Kunifusa, and the same name was passed down through several generations. The itame-hada with a mixture of mokume and a slightly raised jigane and the small patterned irregular blade with a wavy ko-nie, with kin-sen, sunagashi and yu-bashiri, etc., are full of highlights, and are considered to be the work of Kunimune of Uda.
