[ Size ] Blade length 74.9cm (2 shaku 4 sun 7 bu 1 rin), sori 2.5cm (8 bu 2 rin), moto-haba 3.34cm, moto-kasane 0.69cm, saki-haba 2.38 cm, saki-kasane 0.58 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 932g , shirasaya length 108.5cm
[ Period ] End of Edo through beginning of Meiji
[ Province ] Mutsu

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, Ioroi-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasame is ordinal. Koshi-zori attached. There are some diffrences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Yasurime is unclear. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained.
Hamon : Gunome, cho-ji and togari-bas mixed. Ashis, yô and deep nioi appeared.
Boushi : It turns round with notare-gokoro. Saki shows hakikake shape.

[ Highlight ] The body is wide, deep curvature and imposing. The Jigane has a well-grained itame grain and a bright, turbulent blade with a ko-nie effect. Although there is no signature, the sword is identified as Keishinsai Naomasa. Keishinsai Naomasa was a student of Takei Naotane, a clan craftsman of the Soma Nakamura clan. He died on 24 November 1879. His signatures include: 'Keishinsai Naomasa kore wo tsukuru', 'Nakamura-Shin Keishinsai Naomasa Sakurai', 'Miyazaki Echizen-kami Naomasa Sakurai', ‘Echizen-kami Naomasa' and 'Nihon Go-Kaji Echizen-kami Naomasa'. Dates include Kaei 7, Genji 1-4 and Meiji 1-2-3-6.
