[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, slightly wide mihaba body width, normal thickness, deep curvature, with a deep bow at the tip.
Engraving: the engravings have a bar flume on the front and back.
Nakago : the nakago stem is suri-age, kiri at the saki tip, yasurime rasped are katte-sagari, with two mekugi holes.
Jigane : the jigane base iron is well-grained with itame-hada, and the jinie attached.
Hamon : The blade pattern is a mixture of alternating blades with small curves and sharp edges, with a foot in the blade, a bright nioi-kuchi, well nie attached, with a kin-sen and sunagashi.
Boushi : the boushi is slightly rounded, with a hakikake-swept tip.

[ Highlight ] Masatoshi was a swordsmith of the Sakakura Seki school who created swords in the Sakakura area of Mino Province. The first generation is said to have been made around Eisho (1504-1521) and the second around Tenmon (1532-1555). The gunome-midare even-grained wavy blade pattern has a brilliant nioi parfum and is well nie boiled, with kin-sen gold streaks and sunagashi sandy streams, and the boushi cap with a large wavy pattern is also very powerful. The similarity between the signature of the sword and that of Sengo Muramasa of Kuwana, Ise Province, points to the possibility of a technical exchange.
