Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is thicker than usual.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are o-suji-kais. Saki is iri-yama-gata. Two holes.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached so much. Fine chikei appeared.
Hamon : Chu-sugu-ha. Ko-ashis and yos appeared. Rich ko-nie attached. Kin-sen and sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It shows ko-maru form. It turns relatively deeply.

Wakizashi with black lacquer scabbard: sword with military fan design in menuki (shakud with gold coloured lacquer engraving), figurehead (inscribed "Made by Eshu Resident Munenori"), sword guard with chrysanthemum branch design (iron-ground).

[ Highlight ] Harima Daijo Tadakuni I, called Hashimoto Rokurozaemon, was the second son of Souemon Hirosada ('Yoshiie' doujin), a disciple of Tadayoshi I. His elder brother was Kunihiro. The date of creation is dated 13 Kan'ei 13, which suggests that he received the title earlier than this. He was a master forge of the Ogi clan, one of the three branches of the Saga Nabeshima family, and in his later years he entered the priesthood and took the name of KYUTETSU. This sword has a fine, fine-grained, medium straight blade with a brilliant nioi perfume, and a broad, dynamic appearance. It has a high-quality pair of sword fittings.
